Kurzbiographie

Seit März 2011 promoviert Martin Petzold am Seminar für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Informationsmanagement. Seinen Abschluss in Wirtschaftsinformatik erwarb er an der Universität zu Köln, nachdem er zuvor einige Jahre als Web- und Enterprise Java-Entwickler tätig war. Neben seiner Promotion arbeitet Martin für die ProSyst Software GmbH und ist dort als Technical Consultant und Projektmanager in erster Linie für Forschungsprojekte verantwortlich.

Forschungsinteressen

Im Rahmen meiner Forschung beschäftige ich mich mit Sensing und der Mensch-Computer-Interaktion (MCI) in mobilen und ubiquitären Informationssytemen. Dazu gehören Analysen zur Nutzung von Sensortechnologien, entsprechende Anforderungen an das Design von mobilen und ubiquitären Informationssystemen sowie daru?ber hinaus gehende Potenziale und Implikationen in der Nutzung von Sensordaten.
