Research

Research and cooperation projects with practitioners span the areas of generative AI, business analytics, digital transformation, semantic document analysis (for example, extreme classification of documents, content analysis, assistance systems for knowledge workers), as well as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) methods for decision support in (print) media production, for trading on financial and crypto markets and for logistics (optimization of pallet structure).

We design and implement information systems for this purpose. Together with practice partners, we design data-centered product, process and business model innovations. We use a wide range of machine learning/artificial intelligence methods - including LLM/transformer, deep learning approaches - as well as genetic algorithms.
