- In the core and advanced section, basics of business administration, mathematics, informatics and information systems are taught and deepened.
- In the supplementary section, students have the choice between more modules from business administration, informatics or information systems which can be selected according to interest and career ambitions.
- The specialisation section of the programme sets the focus on the teaching of instrumental competencies in the area of informatics and information systems.

B.Sc. Information Systems graduates possess the dual qualification of business management and computer science that is often sought after in the job market. As a graduate, you are eligible for employment in various sectors (e.g., business consulting, systems development management, and information management) and internal departments. You will function as an intermediary between business processes and the technically-anchored system world.
<h2>Become a journalist while completing your bachelor's degree:</h2>- The Cologne School of Journalism (KJS) trains political and business journalists for the press, radio and online media. Focus: political and business journalism.
- The four-year full-time programme is combined with a bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne from the third semester onwards.
