Jannik Rößler pursued a bachelor and a master degree in Information Systems at the University of Cologne. Through his studies, he identified his interests in machine learning, big data and data science. In addition to his studies, he worked as a software developer at PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH and as a data scientist at IBM. He was also granted the opportunity to conduct research as a visiting student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
